In some areas, the possibility of getting gasoline per refueling has been reduced to 20 liters.
The important issue here is that this restriction of fuel supply occurred during the past days and after Operation Sadegh 2 and at the same time as some people turned to supply gasoline; And this was while Reza Nawaz, the spokesperson of the country’s fuel station owners association, said in an interview with IRNA that there is no problem in terms of stocks at the stations and the delivery of the product, and people should not worry.
After the publication of conflicting news about the refueling limit of up to 20 liters, this morning, Sunday, October 15, the National Oil Products Distribution Company issued a notice announcing that there will be no change in the monthly gasoline quota of the smart car fuel card, and the daily number of gasoline withdrawals from the personal car card. Twice a day and the maximum daily withdrawal is a total of 100 liters (50 liters per refueling).
This means that the limit of refueling with a personal fuel card for cars, which used to be 60 liters per shift, has been changed to 50 liters per shift, and personal fuel card holders can only use their card twice a day. Also, according to the published announcement, the limit of withdrawing gasoline from the emergency fuel card has not changed and it is the same 30 liters per turn.
Of course, in this context, several points should be taken into account: one is that people after the limit of 50 liters can receive more gasoline immediately after entering and exiting the fuel card; Secondly, in many cases, the stations’ fuel cards provide up to 40 liters of fuel per load.
It is not clear why conflicting news about this matter has spread and why different organizations have different accounts of refueling restrictions. Also, it is not clear why the petroleum product distribution company did not inform about the limit of refueling up to 20 liters, and after announcing an order not to inform, they published an announcement that is still contradictory, but by the way, the authorities should be able to ease the minds of citizens in times of crisis. . Therefore, the reduction of the gasoline quota cannot be defended even if it happened in a piecemeal manner. When people feel insecure and increase their demand for any reason, the authorities should be able to provide the appropriate supply.
